GPS connection

Hi everyone! Since the last Fitbit update, not the app, but the surge, is the gps connection terrible! It needs a very very long time before I have a connection. Normally the watch need 1 minute. Now I wait and wait and wait... Then I chose quick start and after 1 km running it makes the connection. I tried everything... A restart, waiting but nothings really helped!

Think I'm going the buy a TomTom gps watch!!

the last Surge update is more than 3 months old, now.

my GPS works after one minute.

I did thuis evening a test. In my street is it terrible but in an open area it make connection in a minute...

What is in the street that might make it hard to obtain a lock.  Trees, cloudy, tall buildings l, hogh voltage power lines? I ask because GPS needs a line of sight to the Satelites.

If it is a clear sky, i have benn able to get a loxk in as little as 15 seconds.

It wasn't Cloudy yesterday. There is a high power cabine but all the buildings are three our four high... I did this morning a test around the courner and there is everything ok. Maybe next time I start my run around the corner...
