If you are using the GPS on, say a hike, and the device is unable to acquire satelites for some time, do the built in acclerometers, altimeter, and compass continue to track you're movments? Or will there just be a block of missing data during the outage. TIA, Emujo

I've had that happen a few times when under very heavy tree cover; when the tracker gets lost and then recovers at a new position, the resultant map shows a straight line between the points.  That said, in most cases the tracker seems to be able to kinda-sorta figure out its general vicinity, so usually said "straight line" is usually rendered as a bit curved.
