Hello @Donaldlo, good to see you in our community. I can suggest some wearing tips to improve the accuracy of your tracker. Experiment with wearing the tracker higher on your wrist during exercise as moving the tracker up a couple inches above the wristbone can improve the heart rate signal. Another cause of this, is wearing your tracker too tight; a tight band restricts blood flow, potentially affecting the heart rate. Moving vigorously and non-rhythmically, the movement may prevent the sensor from finding an accurate heart rate, for this try relaxing your wrist and staying still briefly (about 10 seconds), after which you should see an accurate heart rate reading.
Hope this helps and keep me update how it goes.

Hi @Donaldlo, well if this is the case, I suggest to clean the sensor of your heart rate and the altimeter (little hole at the side of your tracker). In some occasion the sweat can interfere with the hear rate reading. I have experienced this myself when I played soccer. Also any obstruction in the altimeter can have an impact on the amount of floors your Surge is reading. For additional tips I recommend the following link: https://www.fitbit.com/productcare
Now if this is not resolving anything, why don't you try with a restart? Some of the times the internal software of the tracker may have some errors causing these issues. I have shared the steps in other post, so in case you need the procedure, take a look here.
If this is not the solution, please contact our Support Team and let them know of your efforts to troubleshoot so they will be able to advise you of the next steps after reviewing your device history with you.
I'll be around in case you need more ideas.
