Heart rate monitor stop registering for about 24 hours. Came back to life but intermittent and wrong readings. Manual measure during exercise at 165 and reading was between 78 and 90

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @HRissues. It's great to have you here. If you haven't done it already please perform a restart to your Fitbit Surge by following @Rich_Laue's steps. This should help your Fitbit Surge to start recording your heart rate properly again. Let me know how it goes.
