New Fit BIt Surge Unable to Update Firmware

Dear all,

 

I bought this new FITBIT Surge last evening in Singapore and to this point the firmware is not able to update. I have tried all the standard trouble shooting technique given on shut down and restart etc. and all attempts failed. I have sent an email to customer support and it is past 11 hours since I last sent them the mail and to this point there is no resposne.

 

Is this the usual way for FITBIT customer resposne? Is the product prone to such problem of being unable to update the firmware from the start, if so wonder how it is while on regular use.

 

If anyone got an idea how to resolve this case please do let me know.

@Shridhar welcome to the Community forums! Actually the estimated time for Support to get back to you via email is approximately 2 days, so I'm sure they will be getting back to you pretty soon now! I recommend trying to update your Surge from a different device (computer or a different mobile device). Click here for instructions on how to update your tracker from a computer. Even if it's in a Charge HR thread it should also work for your Surge. Let me know how it goes! Cat Very Happy
