It seems that my issue is not new - but is the Home button on the Surge really as poorly implemented as it seems to be? I too have the issue where I have to press it many times before it does anything - if it does anything at all. Not being able to easily toggle back and forth renders much of the unit meaningless. I've had it for less than a week. I'm rather shocked that the button has as many problems as it does and FitBit hasn't addressed the situation yet.
