Is the Surge2 coming out soon?

I purchased my Surge as soon as it was released and have been wearing it on my daily runs since. I've had many other watches before my Surge but have had great luck with this watch and have been waiting patiently for the next version. It's showing signs of old age (like me); band is breaking, battery life is getting shorter, display is wonky at times, I have to shutdown and restart to get sync to work.

Is the Surge2 coming out soon? And if so, I'd be happy to see a bit better battery life and a better recharge connection, there has been days when I plugged in the night before only to find the connection popped off during the night and I had to run without being able to track the miles, feels like running without shorts! It's been over 2 years now and suspect other watches on the market do all my original Surge does and more but if Surge2 is really happening soon (like before end of summer) I can hang on.

Cheers!

Know one ever knows what is coming. Wish we did but it wont happen.

They will release it when it happens

A Surge 2 is highly unlikely considering the Fitbit smartwatch is supposed to be released in the fall. What's also unlikely is that any Surge owner would buy the smartwatch considering Fitbit's total lack of support for the Surge.

I totally agree. I've been with fitbit for long time. But due totally ignoring new features for their top product and completely ignoring feature requests. My next tracker will not be Fitbit.

Move on I bought a Blaze. Got tired of waiting for a honest answer from support. There is no support for the Surge for some reason.
