How do I get a refund for my Surge?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I purchased a Fitbit Surge from Best Buy on March of this year and within 5 weeks the wristband started bubbling and peeling. I contacted Fitbit customer support about the issue. They promptly sent me a new Surge. I have the new watch now for a few weeks now and cannot remove my old one and add the new replacement. I get as far as the set up prompt to where it asks for the 4 digit code to pair the watch and as soon as I enter the 4 digit code but as soon as I enter the code it says it cannot complete setup.

Apparently there is now an update available for the watch so I have tried to update it but it keeps telling me that the update could not be compelted. I am now having difficutly getting my old watch to connect to my iphone which I had no problems in the past.

I thought the issue may be with my computer so I installed the Fitbit app on my laptop to try and update but I am still having the exact same issues with connecting the new watch and trying to update it as well.

This is too much of a headache to deal with. I have only owned this for not even 3 months now. I just want a refund at this point.

The warranty terms (see www.fitbit.com/returns ) say that you have 45 days to return a product for a refund if you are dissatisfied but I think this only applies to products bought via fitbit.com. Do you know what Best Buys's terms are?

If you bought it via a credit card then there may be further options via them.

If in doubt then you could always contact customer support to see what your options are and whether they can help. You can contact them via this link:
