Silly question- how do you actually use lap run mode?
I can't see how it differs from a free run? The answer is probably really obvious and I'm going to feel silly but I just don't know how to use this feature.....
Can someone please step me through how they use it?!? Thanks

Not a silly question at all! I don't use it so I had to search and it took me quite a while.
I beleive on Lap Run you get paces per lap, based on you pressing the lap button (upper right) with each lap. Obviously you will also get lap times and lap distance. I don't see those thing on Free Run even though it is giving me automatic laps every mile.
Keep stepping!

Can you pre-program the Surge a lap distance or time to vibrate once completed?
Thanks again

You can auto-program laps for a free run I know (mine tells me every mile) but it doesn't give you splits. I have not tried it on Lap Run. You do that in the settings section under devices.
