Inline skating/rollerblading on fitbit surge exercises

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
Hi, you (fitbit) have a very limited choice of exercises available for fitbit surge and for a company like yours that sells fitness trackers, I find that pretty poor!
I would like to request that you add more choices of exercises to chose from for the surge specifically Inline skating /rollerblading please.
Thx for your time.

Hello @Squishman7, welcome aboard to our Fitbit community. I understand your point of view, initially the Fitbit trackers are designed to track step based activities and with requests of users and with today's fitness requirements, new features has been added along the way.

Skateboarding is an activity available from the manually log activities, although not as an exercise shortcut from the Surge. So I Invite you to visit a similar idea suggested in our feature request board by another user. It might be of your interest and if it does, you can add your comment and vote to show your support and make more popular this idea.

Hope this helps and see ya around.

Thanks for responding but you mentioned to review similar idea suggested but I don't see a link to it?
Also, my request had to do with rollerblading, not skateboarding.

Hi @Squishman7, thank you for letting me know the link is missing, so here I found you an idea more relevant to rollerblade: Custom Exercise Shortcut.

Thx but that doesn't give a viable solution, just a crummy workaround which really doesn't deal directly with rollerblading.
You guys need to step up your game and create more exercises to chose from!
It's a costly tracker and although I like it, it is very limited. There were all kinds of requests for rollerblading as a choice amongst others so I would like to know when fitbit is going to do something about it?

Hi @Squishman7, I know is not too much help, but note so far we don't have any new update here in the community forums. Reason I invited you to visit the feature request board, due to the product team always looks forward to reading and incorporating new suggestions into future versions of Fitbit trackers and apps.

If I know any update I will let you know.
