There is a generic "workout" mode you could use. I noticed my Surge recently logged some particularly strenuous gardening work as 'sport' recently.

I do regularly workouts with Kettlebells with my Surge off my arm. Cant really see how you are going to do a Kettelbells worksout without damaging your Surge in the long run. Every clean and snatch will land on your surge - wouldn't it?
I am using MFP to log my food and water - and not stepbased workouts such as Kettlebells/ ciruit training.. Works like a charm when your calorie consumption are pushed back to your Fitbit account

Hi there @jorang, @Dogsrule and @chris2121! Besides "Workout" you can choose the "Weights" option. If this doesn't appear on your tracker you can add it from your Account Settings. Remember you have up to 7 activities to choose.
Good luck!

Yes you could use weights. I'm actually not sure what is different if the different exercise modes anyway. But my observation is that a typical kettlebell workout is quite different in nature compared with most people doing a weights session.

Hi there @chris2121! Each exercise mode is based on the movement of you hands (this is to determine the intensity of your exercise) and also the heart rate.
