Let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! So let me see if I understood. So the led light on the screen is like changing from red to yellow? if so, this sounds indeed odd. Please post a picture of this issue, so I can investigate what is going on and try to solve it.

I haven't seen this problem mentioned in a while, if the 2 button reset* doesn't work, or turning it off through the settings menu, you'll need to contact.fitbit.com
*hold the left and lower right button down for 15 seconds, wait for the screen to turn off, could be another 40 seconds. Press a button to turn it on.
