I have a Surge and have had a problem with the pause or stop buttons being pressed while I exercise without me knowing(while lifting weights with gloves or lifting straps or while playing ball or hockey). It kinda sucks when I go to look at my stats when I am done and find the watch back in normal mode and only a portion of my workout was tracked. Is there anyway that there could be a way to lock the buttons out before starting to exercise? Maybe in a firmware upgrade at some point?

Thanks for stopping by @Jacklynjones077! How you doing?
A way to lock your Surge while doing an activity is an excellent idea and I would like to encourage you to vote and place your comments in this request that was already suggested here: Lock buttons while in exercise mode, members of the Community can place new ideas in this board so they can be implemented in a future update, this is the best way to make your voice heard.
In the mean time I'd recommend you wear your Surge a little bit higher in your left wrist, so the button will be facing up. Trying to leave just the Surge on your wrist in a better position.
Hope this helps! ![]()

Has nay progress been made on this issue. I've had my Surge for three days now. All three days I have lost my tracking due to this.
