Loosing Steps from my average of the week

Hi 

I'm averaging 18k steps per day .

my friend is on 17k per day .

23.45 last night I logged and my total was 123.458 ..

my friend was 121.300.

i wake up and she is on 113,345 I'm on 103,278..

each night we're losing steps , any ideas ??

Hi, @Tkd360, you are not losing steps -- they are still there and counted for your lifetime totals. However, the number you are reporting is a running 7 day total: the day you are on, and the previous 6 days.  Each night at midnight the steps you took 7 days ago "drops off" that total, ready to make way for the new day.

 

That means that if you look at your step count just before bed it will always show you the highest number (because it will be a full seven day count) and if you look at it first thing in the morning it will always be the lowest number (because it will only be six days, plus the day which is only just beginning...)

i rather see on Monday morning a "0" steps , then build that up through the week..

It's good to know that your questions have been cleared out! Although, I think that your idea it's great. Starting your week with 0 steps to build it up through the week sounds fantastic. Why don't you enter this as a request in our  Feature Suggestions board, so other members of the Community can comment and vote for it; so it can be implemented in a future update. This is the best way to make your voice heard.

 

One more thing to mention, I found this suggestion Total number of steps per day! So you can check if it is something that you would like to have also and vote for it.
