I went out for a run and when I looked at the Fitbit itself, it had logged all the step, calories burned ect. I synced with my iPhone when I got home and on my Fitbit and phone it is all back to ‘0’. All the data has been wiped. Has anyone been successful with obtaining it back??

Welcome to the community!
Okay, this is simply an educated guess, but did you:
If this describes what happened, then I can explain why it happened.
I hope this helps.

First, allow me to explain what happened...
Fitbit trackers are like wall clocks. They keep time as long as they have power. If you deplete the battery and replace it, it will continue to keep time... right where it left off.
If you depleted the battery yesterday at 2am and plugged it back in at 10pm, then the time on your Fitbit is off by 20 hours. This means that your 6am run this morning registered 20 hours before (so 10am yesterday).
The good news: You got credit for every single step.
The bad news: They were credited on the wrong day.
The way to avoid this going forward. Don't deplete the battery on your Fitbit; you should get a low battery warning a full day before you'd deplete the battery. If you do run out the battery on your Fitbit, then sync it (to set the time) before you start to use it.
I hope this helps.
