When I did a tracking with my Surge over 25km walk, I only could read my HR, pace, calories, impact but no map was shown. the cursor stays in search mode. Did I something wrong?

Sounds like a no signal or data mess up.
I always make sure that the surge is paired and has a signal.

No longer bother recording runs straight from the app, as something generally goes wrong.

Incidentally inputting onto this forum via a smartphone is very hit and miss!

Community needs to be baked with the app imho

@HB54 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! It is possible that the radio transmissions from the GPS satellites are being blocked for some reason. It could be because you're underground, near tall buildings, or even as a result of atmospheric effects. It depends a lot on both your environment and the weather. Your Fitbit Surge will keep searching the signal if it gets lost as the exercise is in progress, If you keep experiencing issues with this, reset your GPS on your phone and if you keep experiencing issues, contact your phone provider to check if GPS is good on your phone.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
