So i realize that it wants you to go by time zone.. So i have used the app on my PC and set my timezone correctly but for reasons i need to have my phone set to Japan time zone and i live in Canada. I can manually set the time on my phone correctly even though the time zone is way out there... But when i try to Sync my Fit Bit it just says "error the time on your phone is wrong".
So i ask. Is there any way to display the time I WANT on my fitbit? or is it locked to the time zone on your PHONE. Obviously having a surge i'd like to have the functionality of having it connected to my phone for things like phone calls and SMS's. However its inability to allow me to set a time that i would like to it is actually really frustrating.
Does anyone have a solve for this, to allow me to have it showing the time thats set on my phone and not the time thats linked to the "time zone" on my phone? While still allowing it to sync to my phone?

When you use the app on the computer to set the tome, are you able to sync through tge computer? I would think this would fix this.
My thoughts if you cant sync through the computer.
BTW the Win10 app can also sync through the charging cable with the Surge.

Welcome to the Community @Bloodfrost ! Have you tried @Rich_Laue's suggestion?
If the time of day on your tracker is wrong, make sure your time zone setting is correct and that your tracker has synced since the time zone was modified. Your tracker should automatically adjust for Daylight Savings Time (DST), but if it hasn't done so, also double check that the time zone is correct and sync the tracker. To verify and adjust time zone settings, do the following:
