Miles / Steps not resetting after midnight

The miles / steps counters on my brand new Surge are not resetting after midnight (interestingly, the calories and floors ARE resetting).  I've powered down the watch and that didn't solve the problem.  Help!!!

Restarting the watch will not fix last night, maybe it will help tonight. 

 

Do you turn the tracker of at night. or could you have crossed a timezone before midnight?

Thnx...I've restarted the watch and am hoping the counters reset tonight at midnight.  Will know shortly.
