Ok. I'll stick this here because I'm just talking to the walls at this point. Is Fitbit even thinking about designing and releasing a true waterproof multi sport tracker? If so, then I can be patient (within reason).

With the recent release of the Vivoactive HR and, taking into account the plethora of other trackers on the market, I will be dumping Fitbit entirely in favor of Garmin. Customers have been asking this question since 2013. As of Memorial Day, barring an announcement to the contrary, Fitbit will no longer be THE FITNESS TRACKER COMPANY. Most of my coworkers have gone garmin, along with several friends who dumped their Fitbit's in a drawer.

I really like the company, community, and app, but I'm tired of talking to myself.

Here here....and now Garmin have released ANOTHER multi sport - so they have about 3 available and so does Tom Tom. I am giving it until October (my 50th) before I abandon Fitbit for Garmin or Tom Tom. Come on FitBit - I wrote to you directly and you said put it on the community board which I did but do any of your designers even read this?

I have used my fitbit surge in the pool and although it says you should not, it very much is capable of handling water.....

Glad it worked for you but others who've tried the same thing haven't been so lucky.

They're constantly taking a look at your ideas and suggestions. Remember you're always welcome to keep participating in our Community. And you're right @MikeF, wearing the tracker during water activities is not recommendable.
