I have had a Surge for about two months(Fathers Day gift). I wear it pretty much 24/7 but do not subject it to water other than incidental contact. I have noticed on several occasions that there is condensation inside the display. The buttons are stuck and I can not access anything but backlight programming in settings. The charging cable does not seat well in the watch back and it takes a lot of wiggling to get it to charge, but most often it looses contact before it charges fully.
I really like this product but it seems to be awfully lightweight for such a premium price. I am afraid at this rate the Fitbit Surge will fail soon. I have truly appreciated the metrics I get from your product and want to use it long term. I am a fairly active person but not a beast. What kind of lifespan should I expect from your product? I was hoping for maybe a couple of years but I fear it may only be a few months.
