Music control issues

I guess my Fitbit surge is connected to Bluetooth since I see it says connected, however I cannot control music.

When I go to my Fitbit settings > Bluetooth > pair and open up my iPhone settings > Bluetooth, I see the 2 devices are connected then I see, at the bottom below all the connected devices, "surge (classic)" and my surge will give me the 6 digit pairing number. The thing is, on my phone, I see nothing to enter in the access code. It just continues to try to pair and thus... The access code continues to change.

Even though they are connected, no sight of anything regarding music.

Can anyone help me out with this? I have an iPhone 6s Plus on iOS 9.3.1

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Renata322, hope you're doing great Woman Very Happy! Are you doing the following in order to activate Music Control?:

  1. On your Surge:
    1. Display the Menu, then swipe to Settings.
    2. Scroll to Bluetooth Classic.
    3. If the setting is Off or On, press the Select button until the setting is Pair.
  2. On your mobile device:
    1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth.
    2. Make sure your device is discoverable and is scanning for devices.
    3. When “Surge (Classic)” appears as an available device, select it.
    4. Wait for a message showing a six-digit number.
  3. Perform the following two steps in close succession:
    1. When the same six-digit number appears on your Surge, press the Action button (lower right) to confirm the pairing.
    2. On your mobile device, select Pair.

Have a good one!
