My surge is falling apart

I've loved my surge for the past 5 months. I wear it everyday, though not in the shower. The band has popped a bubble on one side and is detaching on the other.... no what? There's no way it should be wearing out by now....

As you'll still be within warranty you could contact customer support to see if they will replace it for you:

Contact customer service, but keep the following in mind...I have had two different Surge devices with band issues. Both devices' bands began bubbling and coming apart near the watch face only a few months after I received them. This is frustrating and disappointing, especially given the cost. It is even more frustrating that after my original device was replaced, the replacement had the same issues but is held to the warranty period of my first device. I've owned two FitBit Surges in less last a year a half. Obviously, I have some concerns about this specific model and would want to switch models. However, a 30% discount is insulting considering the original purchase price of my first device. Keep in mind, I purchased it less than a year and a half ago. Overall, I'm glad I will have my device replaced (Although I didn't enjoy being made to feel like someone was doing me a favor by giving me a replacement.) but highly frustrated with what appears to be a cycle.

I'm not sure why an offer of a 30% discount is insulting when you are out of warranty and entitled to nothing.
