My surge is not counting my steps.

What do I need to do to get it to work properly?

Is it not counting any steps at all or just missing some?

 

Is the count you are looking at on the app or on the Surge?

 

As a first step it's worth trying a restart of your Surge using the following procedure. It does no harm and can sort out all sorts of problems:

Not counting on the Surge, I watched it as I walked slower than usual.
I have re-started it off a few times still the same

Hey there, @Alaska12! Welcome to the Family! Thanks for replying with those details to our friend @SteveH, that was of great help! I think that in this case it's best to contact Customer Support, so they can help you with this, since usually the restart does the trick. Smiley Frustrated
