New Surge won't sync with Galaxy S7 edge

Just bought a new Fitbit Surge when I try to connect it it will find the surge but when I enter in the pin number it will not connect. I've restarted the surge and the phone and also uninstalled the app. Please help.

Thanks for asking, I actually called fitbit they told me it was defective. Send me a new one.

Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?
