Hello,
Fitbit sent me a replacement surg but I cannot figure out how to turn it on so that I can sync to my cell phone

A warm welcome to the Community @CoachMosley. Have you charged the Surge? If you haven't, I recommend charging the tracker first. After charging it you can follow the setup procedure to paired your tracker directly with your Android Fitbit app. By clicking here you have have the Surge manual.

I am having trouble receiving phone calls and text notifications on my
fitbit surge. Is there something on the app side that I need to enable?
