My new Fitbit surge won't charge. This is the first time I'm trying to charge it. I have no indication that it is charging on a screen. It only vibrates when I plug it in.

We're having the same problem with my husband's new Surge. We just bought it a couple hours ago and nothing is happening except for a dimly back-lit screen and a vibration. 

 

Did you figure anything else out?

I just got a new Surge and am having the exact same problem.  Vibrates, but nothing else comes up on watch screen and app keeps saying battery is depleted.  I have tried several different USB ports on different computers and USB chargers to no avail.

I'm so bummed to hear that! $249.99 is not a small price to pay and to have it not work out of the box is so frustrating!!!

 

We called FitBit and they gave us a case number, but then suntested we take it back to the store since it had only been a few hours since we purchses it. We took it back and they immediately said it was a defective screen and gave us a new device.
