Hello guys.

I want to buy a Surge model in august and i'm afraid that fitbit release a new model for surge until the end of the year. Do you hear any buzz about it?

Only hint of anything is that a major UK retailer is selling the Surge at a heavily discounted price. I got a reply from Fitbit though saying it doesn't control pricing so may be just be that Currys know of the issues with this thing and are shifting their stock.... reduced from £200 to £158

I just bought my Surge from Argos for £157.99, I believe they are the same on Amazon.  In fact pretty much anywhere.

Thanks Chris.

But you don't know if fitbit will release a new Surge mode?

Cheers!

No, I wish I did. My second one is starting to fail on the usual strap issues, I could get another as UK has a 2 year guarantee but would prefer a new model with a bit better durability hopefully...

@SER12CLA @chipmunkcheeks Welcome to our Community!

@SER12CLA Currently we don't have any official information about any new trackers equal or on the same level as the Fitbit Surge. As always any official announcement will be provided through Fitbit.com. Still thank you for your interest and if I get any new I will gladly share it with you all.

@chipmunkcheeks Glad to hear that the Surge can be found at a discounted price. This can help anyone looking to buy one of these trackers.

@Chris1963 As you know you can always contact our Support team for assistance with your device.

Let me know how it goes!
