Not tracking GPS exercise

I'm using the exercise tracking mode on my Surge but on my phone it's only giving me a summary - no map, no mile-by-mile statistics etc. The GPS appears to be working and I'm using the device as before. What is the problem please?

Hi there - I've been talking to customer services and all they've done is send me links to FAQs I've already read. I've tweeted as well - will let you know if that helps.

I've had this device for a year and the interface with the app used to be great. They need to pare down all the nonsense about goals and challenges and just get back to a simple, usable dashboard featuring the functionality customers paid for.

Thanks for updating, that's the whole reason I got the watch - to track my runs

seems weird it won't do it.

at the moment my phone app 'track my run' is better (and was free) ☹️

Hope you get an update

Turned out my app needed updating - check the App Store on your phone and see if there's an update for Fitbit. Good luck - definitely worth emailing them if that's not it. They took an annoyingly long time to get to this simply explanation but they got there in the end.
