Found a place that sells repacement Surge bands. Aliexpress, anyone had any dealings with them or tried one of the replacement bands?

@Tony-B Welcome to our Community! The Surge wristband isn't replaceable so be careful with dubious offers online. Also if you are having any issue with your tracker feel free to contact our Support Team for assistance. I am sure they will work with you to find a solution.
Let me know how it goes!

I have already received a replacement Surge. Took less than 6 days from my initial email to it ariving in the post. I have no issue there, in fact the speed and ease with which customer service dealt with my problem was very impressive.
However, I hate the fact that I'm supposed to throw a perfectly good, working, fully functional unit away for the sake of a strap. It just seems such a waste to me.

@Tony-B Happy to hear that you receive a replacement from our Support Team. You can recycle your old device through a local recycling program or just store it.
I'll be around!

You see, there's a phrase that I don't understand. If it can be recycled, then it can be repared.
Use it, wear it out.
Make it do, or do without.
Well it ain't worn out yet. It still works.

I can't say I've ever had any skin reaction to my Surge. The only type of band I'd like is one which doesn't break after 6 or 7 months, not too worried what it looks like to be honest as long as it's durable. Which it isn't.
As for downloading data to your iPhone, mine does it every time I run the Fitbit app, it automatically syncs each time. Not only does all the data go to the Fitbit app and then to my Fitbit web site account, all that data goes to my Strava page as well. That's why I like my Surge so much, I just push a button or two to tell it I'm going on a bike ride and forget about it until I get home. In fact, if I forget to tell it, it still knows I've been on a bike ride... Spooky! I don't need fancy phone mounts on my bike or need to worry about my phone slipping out and falling under a passing car, my Surge does it all in one. I've compared the GPS on my Surge to various phone GPS apps and other high end Garmin GPS units that other members of my cycle club use and my Surge is as accurate as any of them. So in short, your Surge should send all the data to your phone just by running the app.

My point?
What part of my answer didn't you understand? The part about the strap or the part about the fact all the data does download to an iPhone?

Ah, I thought this was a self help forum for users in general to discuss and try to rectify thier fitbit problems. I doubt very much the manufacturers themselves take a great deal of notice of this forum, actionable notice anyway. You'd need to contact customer services direct for that.
The other fact is, this is a thread I personally started so I assumed you was directing your comments to me, didn't realise you was highjacking my thread, my apologies.
