The one exercise where I really need to see my heartrate is the one that won't show it.
RUN only ever shows Pace at the bottom. Swipe WILL NOT work.
Starts on PACE, swipe will start to show 'AV', never goes to AVG ____ whatever it's supposed to be. Just falls back to PACE. Try to swipe either way, same problem.
However, when using Exercise, choose Bike, starts at Avg Speed, swipe to Heartrate, swipe to Calories, swipe to Clock, swipe completes list, back to Avg Speed.
Same ease of changing metrics when I choose 'HIKE'.
Any idea why the OS won't work under RUN, but does under all the EXERCISE choices?
It obviously isn't a disabled or damaged touch screen.

@Kzoom I never owned a Surge, but have you tried to restart your Surge by using the instructions in the manual? I can't recommend anything beyond a restart. Fitbit put the Surge on its Legacy Device list in 2020. I can't recommend removing it, then adding it back as a new device. I found two old Fitbits in a drawer, both on the Legacy Device list. I tried to put them on my account for fun, but couldn't. I am concerned that if you do this to your Surge, you won't get it back on your account.
