Hello and welcome to the forums @Swooshtrack
The Surge is an all in one design and as such, there is no replacement for the band.

I had the same thing happen to me with their discount replacement offer. that was my 4th replacement Surge. Two with broken bands by the screw holes, and two with terrible condensation. They tell me my warranty was up, and I said that is funny.... given that they sent the last replacement less than 3.5 months ago.
My wife has been through two Charge's and they jsut said the same thing to her.
Done with FitBit at this point.

If you guys don't like talk about other products, why not stand by your products and admit that to this manufacturing defect, instead of running people's warranties out after replacement after replacement? Don't worry, I know the mods here won't actually answer this question. Look at the top of the community forum for Fitbit Surge, complaints about the defective band are THE TOP POSTS! Sending in PR bots into a community that is upset by your blatant disregard for your customer only stokes the fire.

How is it goin' @Pheonix83, welcome to the Fitbit Community 🙂 It's a pleasure to have you here. @Hindo, @IWasRunning I can understand your frustration because I think Warranty policies can narrow many possibilities sometimes. I been in that position too and sometimes I haven't received even a response when I reach other companies; however I also believe that the devices functionality relies on other factors too. Parting from that principle, I understand as well why warranty policies are needed. Our customer support team strive to keep every single Fitbit customer on track and as part of that position they will motivate the search for alternatives to reinforce a healthy lifestyle. Is at this moment when such gestures of good will like discounts come in to play. I know is not too much but it can be apply on any other product. Also to clarify this is not made with the intention of forcing our users to buy more Fitbit products is just a minor assistance as other options may not be viable when it comes about expired warranty since the period that covers is from the original purchase date.
Also, each tracker even replacements are fully tested before they go out to the market, but we are dealing with electronic devices and we cannot foreseen inconveniences like this will happen all of a sudden in a future. Everyday our teams work in address all the issues that affect the usage to offer the best, but there are issues like the one discussed here, as ther are other users that hasn't experienced any of this issues too.
See you around and I appreciate the feedback.

I am well aware of the Return Policy and Warranty. It's great that they offer replacements for up to one year. The problem is, the device will never make it up to 1 year. The longest that I have had a device function properly without any defects has been 4 months. And seeing as how the 1 year does not re-set once a replacement device has been issued. The most that many of us who paid over $200 for this watch are getting 4 months of functionality. Hardly seems like something that any logical person would purchase, had they know of the issues that others as well as myself are experiencing.
And as far as a discount off other products.... I have seen first hand both the Surge and Charge fall apart with better than normal wear. Given that, logic would lead me to beleive that this product is defective/faulty manufacturing. No other way to position it.

I have had my Surge for two years without any problem. Until now. The band is separated from the case and allowing condensation. This is the first time I have heard that there are no replacement bands for my Surge. I am so dissapointed. Fitbit has replacement bands for other devices, but not this one. That does not make any sense since Surge is the top of the line and most expensive. I guess I can use my Surge by carrying it in my pocket, until the condensation makes it worthless. Fitbit, I too believe this is a manufacturing defect. Most companies test their products and try to anticipate the possible outcomes. Obviously Fitbit conducted no tests on the wristband.
This is the last Fitbit I will buy.

Im sure they are fully tested but this is a DESIGN flaw not an ELECTRONIC problem. The amount of money this product costs, it should last longer than a year!
