I used to have a Fitbit Charge and the screen could be active tapping or moving the wrist. Surge screen is always active and the time is available at any time.

Is there any way I can clear it and have the screen off?

Just because I would alway check the time when I'm doing exercise at the gym... it's my weakness 🙂
