Screen won't swipe even after several restarts

So my screen won't swipe on a new surge. I've restarted it several times but this has not sorted the issue. Does anyone have any other solutions?

Must be a defective one. I would take it back where ever you got it and exchange it. If bought here then contact support. Let them know you restarted it several times already
