Need help with my surge. The screen swipes to let me see steps etc, but when you press the left side button where you normally get to swipe between exercise and settings it wont swipe, so I cant even switch off and restart. Any tips on what to do, or should I just wait for the battery to run out and hope that the recharge kickstarts it again. Thanks

I have had this problem, the official reply/answer is on an earlier same question, hold left and bottom right buttons in for fifteen seconds until screen dims and turns off, then after ten seconds restart using left button. Full instructions on other thread.

That didn’t work for me, I still can’t swipe
from free run to reach treadmill run or
lap run.. What’s the next step?

My Surge did this recently and I thought it was toast. What apparently was wrong was there was moisture in my Surge. I had noticed some fogging in the screen which is nothing new with the Surge. I also noticed that after charging over night the face would again swipe but after wearing the watch for a few hours it would quit swiping. I wore my Apple Watch for a couple of weeks over the Christmas holiday instead of my Surge and the swiping has worked since then on my Surge.
I would try putting your Surge in a baggie of uncooked rice like many people do to dry cell phones after getting them wet. Hopefully this will help your issue.
