Shout out to Support Team! (replacement Surge)

As recently as 2 weeks after I purchased my Surge the band started to bubble. The air trapped underneath wasn't that noticeable until recently, about 3 months into purchase. I contacted customer support via email at 8:00am and by 8:15 I had my first response. By 8:45 I was emailing my shipping information for a replacement!

I did inquire to if I could receive a Blaze instead, as 'I do not want to go through the pains everyone here seems to have with the bands continually cracking, however I have not gotten a response yet, though I know I will soon.

Will update with speed of shipment and quality of replacement when received!

Shout out to Grethel and the Fitbit team!

Hello @Arkangel welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂 I'm glad to hear about your experience with customer support, thanks for sharing, I'm glad to hear that Grethel took care of you and you will be back on track!  🙂 I just wanted to share with your the Fitbit warranty policy. Please note that Fitbit doesn't have an upgrade program and the warranty only allows to replace with the same model of tracker. @WendyB it's great to have you here! 🙂

I had my surge for one year and the band started to tear on the inside. I was just looking to replace the band but the surge does not have that potion. So after about 30 minutes of explaining, they so took care of me and sent me a new surge. Best customer service. I started with a one, got a surge, then the blaze this year for a dressier look. The surge is still my favorite

Hello @Hillhome welcome to the Fitbit Community! 🙂 Thanks for sharing your experience with customer support. My favorite tracker is the Blaze 🙂 I like the Surge and the GPS on the tracker but the display and removable wristbands of the Blaze stole my heart.
