Simple solution for not recieving notifications

I panicked when I stopped receiving notifications halfway through the first day of owning the Surge... I tried 4 or 5 of the trouble shooting methods until I realized simply that the volume of my phone was set to mute and this disabled the notifications completely. Actually a great feature since I don't my wrist to vibrate while I'm trying to sleep. I hope this helps another panicked fitbit newbie.

Hello @JJolley and welcome to our community. Thank you for shared your solution for the issue with the notifications on your Surge. This is very interesting to be honest. Have you try again to put your phone in mute to see if it happen again? In the meantime I will investigate this on my own since it sounds interesting your solution. Robot wink
