Sleep Logging - HR vs Surge

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have had an HR for a year and then got a Surge which i have been using for a week. I notice that the HR would automatically subtract the time restless\awake from the time asleep but the surge doesn't.

The system used by the HR was much better, why would you change that between devices. I used to be able, at a glance, to see how much sleep i was actually getting; not so with the Surge, no i have to do a calculation. It has also thrown my stats out because suddenly I have a "step change" in my sleep.

Welcome to our Community @baldkopje! Is good to know you have a Surge now. Surge and Charge HR track the sleep activity on the same way, so the readings should be the same. I'd like to know if you switched your sleep track from normal to sensitive or vice versa. This may cause different readings. I'd like to know if you already tried to edit your sleep by following the instructions on this post

Keep me posted!

Don't worry about this. Hen had no response I contacted fitbit direct.
After much debate and screen prints going back and forth the matter has been
referred to the software people. We have agreed there is a problem which
apparently will be resolved in an update.

Cheers,
