Sleep record doesn't seem right

In normal mode my surge basically tells me what time I went to bed and when I got up which I kind of know anyway. Since I switched to sensitive mode it has been reporting that I get about 4.5 hours of sleep each night and the other 4 hours are 'restless'. I'm pretty sure that I am getting more than 4.5 hours of sleep. I'm not sure if this is the 'normal' sort of data to expect.

I've tried reseting the surge but it has made no difference.

What a great day to step into the community @Linzbfc! Welcome. Using Fitbit to check your sleep is of great help to better understand your sleep patterns and quality, that's an awesome feature. Woman LOL

I'd suggest using it in the normal mode, to track your sleep. When your Fitbit is in "sensitive" mode your tracker records nearly all movements as time spent restless or awake. This setting is usually use for users who wake up feeling tired even though their sleep history shows sufficient rest. Robot wink

The normal setting counts significant movements as being awake (such as rolling over) and is appropriate for most users. You can give it a try to see if this option is better for you.

As I said, I used it in normal mode to begin with and it said I was asleep from the minute I got into bed until the minute I got out of bed. That is not correct. I usually wake a couple of times in the night. I was hoping for some insight into those periods of being awake but I am just not getting that kind of useful data that I was hoping for.
