Best AnswerHow is it supposed to know what your feet are doing from your wrist? All it can do is measure wrist motion and compare it against whatever internal 'picture' of a footstep it has (I.e. The movements your wrist makes in response to a footstep). If the comparison is successful, a step is counted. If it fails then nothing is counted. What else can it do considering where it sits?
