Are you using a clock face that just doesn't have a slot for showing steps, or is there a steps display space that is not showing the data? If you have changed clock face, you could try switching back to a fitbit one. Sometimes faces developed by others develop problems.
Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
