Will the Surge 2 have the same capabilities as the Blaze with the workouts, colour display and general better aesthetic design? I was confused as to why the Blaze didn't come with GPS as standard or with a GPS add on?

We can all dream about a future product, the perfect blend of features we'd like to see packed in one single device. For this the feature suggestion forum exists. As for possible future products, as already stated, Fitbit is (with good reason) quite secretive on what is about to hit the market, before it actually does. Now, the Blaze, for the way I see it, is a good product for people doing mostly indoor fitness and that want a watch with all the smart watch possible features. That's why it's got the possibility to follow a training on the watch itself but you need your phone if you need to track your ride or run via GPS. Nobody would use a GPS on a treadmill or when cycling indoor ;).

The Surge is the "super watch"... Of 2015. We really need a new model, with better features than the existing one (better strap, battery life, GPS fixing, color screen, sleep stages,...) But only Fitbit knows if and or when it is going to to be released.

Surge 2?

It has not been announced so how would any one know this?

You will know if it is ever released when it is.
