Surge BPM isn't recording on or displaying!

The BPM isn't showing on the surge, the screen is there but rather than have a number is just has "--" like I'm not wearing it? I've tried adjusting the tightness and location as well as turning it off and on, and then changing the setting to off, syncing, and then back to on and syncing again.

no luck!

Change it to Auto

 

Then do  a restart. Do it at least 3 times.
