Surge Battery Life 48 hours

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
I have owned my Surge for almost a year all of a sudden battery life has dropped to 48hours. Fitbit has now sent me 2 replacements and they are having the same problem. So that's 3 watches in less than a month. What is my solution?

@Maiwill07 You've probably already seen this but check out the battery maximizing tips. Basically, turn everything off that you don't really need. It's also a good idea to restart it.

same thing here. ....there's a long thread going.  Problems started mid December is the general consensus.  Turning off all day sync in the app seems to help some.  They've sent me 2 replacments so far.

This is another thread with more information:

the short version is that there's something with either the mobile app or the latest Fitbit firmware that's killing the battery.

Well if any of you out there are having battery issues make sure you call Fitbit before your warranty expires mine was working great until about 2 weeks ago, unfortunately now it is not holding a charge and because I am training for my first half marathon I use my GPS everyday...fitbits response is that it is a hardware problem and that since my warranty expired the best they can offer me is a 25% off coupon on the purchase of a new one. I have recommended this devise to tons of people if I knew the battery was going to carport after 17 months after purchase I would have saved up for an I watch or paid for someone to teach me how to use a garmond device. I can't believe thAt the battery is non replaceable. My whole family has fitbits I recommend to anyone out there to have it replaced before your warranty expires even if it is working fine.
