Surge Blank Screen

I am geting blank screen on Surge. What is the reason and how can I correct. I tried to charge it and restart. Bit the screen comes with a thick blank horizontal line and then it either makes the screen blank or the Surge usual UI comes up.

Try a restart. Do it at least 3 times.
