Surge Completly Dead

My husbands surge is only six months old (purchased May 2016) and last night the screen was flashing the Fitbit logo and not responding to anything so we put it on the charger overnight. This morning the screen is completely dark. We have tried to reset it and it will not respond. What are our options?
