The mileage measured on the Eliptical are always far greater than that registered on my Surge.  Why is that?

The Wrist models models do not pick things up when holding on to things.

Is nice to have you in the Community @Searsonf! I'd like to know if you're using your Surge on "Elliptical" mode. This helps to have more accurate readings of these activities. To get this option, press the home button on your Surge> Swipe to the right> Exercise> Home button again and swipe until you get this option. If you don't have it on your list, you can add it from your account settings. Remember you have up to 7 activities to choose.

I recommend making sure you're clenching the handles of you elliptical machine, and remember that Surge is based on your personal information and 2 different machines with different technology will definitely give different results. Thanks a lot for your helps @WendyB
