Recommend an easy way on the Apple IOS to delete notifications other than powering off/on the Surge Fitbit. Perhaps just swiping it left to right or right to left?

On the Apple IOS you need to uncheck notifications. But it might not be the ones you are talking about

 

You need to go on to you computer on your dashboard, click on the gear and choose settings. On the Left hand side choose Notifications then uncheck the ones you do not want to get.

 

Scroll to bottom and click save when done
