Surge Pricing

Yesterday I replaced my Surge with a new Blaze. When I was at the store I was surprised to see that the Blaze was $149 and the Surge was still priced at $249. 

 

I assumed that the Blaze was a higher end product. Any reason the Surge is so much more expensive?
