Good morning, i bought my Fitbit Surge last year 2017, September month and was perfectly fine until a fiew weeks ago i start noticing somethings is not right.
Fist of all its a problem to sync my surge with my Samsung S7, i restarted phone and device but still problem presist, so syncing a problem.
Secondly i notice the automatic setting for display is also not working anymore, i can flick my wrist like a crazy person but still the display wont come on, you physically need to touch the display, and yes on surge the setting is ticked 'automatic'!!
Thirdly i noticed Heart Rate setting also not working properly anymore, even you place setting on "off" the green lights still flashing at the back.
Tomorrow i will go for a walk with gps, hopefully no problems with that, but will inform you.
I really needs this product for my health to be better after my knee operations to help me be more motivated, the Surge was foresure not cheap, i jused some savings money to bought it, but now i am really disapointed in it, and it is not even 5months old????

get used to it. on my 4th surge in 3 yrs., thankfully paid for warranty. inferior product, lousy customer support. i currently can't get my surge to update on ios, rendering it useless for 3 weeks+. i have called customer support 3 times (no help), tweeted, and emailed for a week now to no avail. I will never purchase another Fitbit product.
