Surge Screen Still Blank After Reset

Yet another problem with my Surge! I went for a run this morning, and all working fine. When I got back from my run as I was sweating quite a lot, I took my Surge off while I did my stretching, and then when I picked it up again the screen had dimmed  and was flickering.

 

So I looked on the forums and it suggested I charge it and try restarting. I have charged it now for well over an hour and tried restarting over 5 times, and nothing, the screen is now totally blank???? The green lights on the back are still flickering but nothing on the screen

 

I am amazed for an expensive piece of kit, how many problems its giving me....would expect more, even a $5 Casio watch gives me less issues!

@Kijana If it's within the warranty period (12 months US, 24 months Europe) call for a replacement. If not, I would let the battery completely die (which could take up to a week) then restart. You are not alone. If you already haven't, take a glance at the Surge forums to get a better idea of what's ahead of you. Good luck..
